The Demon Slayer

I’m Lucien Lesauvage, convicted murderer and all-around great guy. Although I was innocent, I was happy to stay in Supermax because the demon who had committed those murders wanted to kill me, too. Life in the slammer was okay until Tiffany Thompson, our new president, freed me and insisted that I bring the deadly demon to justice. The problem was, he was a much stronger sorcerer than I was. Rule number one from the mean streets of Chicago - never take on a fight you can’t win.

I’m Lucien Lesauvage, globetrotter. That sounds a lot better than man on the run, doesn't it? Not that I’ve done anything wrong. My big mistake was doing something right. I solved a huge problem for one particular stone bitch, President Tiffany Thompson. Now, she thinks I'm her slave for life. This time, she wants me to destroy an 800-year-old Babylonian jinn who's determined to slaughter as many Americans as he can.  

I'm Lucien Lesauvage, a big fan of the City of Lights and a happily retired demon slayer. Over the last year, though, some dark immortal has been killing and mutilating women and girls in what used to be Gay Paree. Now, the attacks happen almost daily. The French government has been powerless to stop the carnage. No surprise there. If they don't destroy the vicious demon soon, the whole city will rise up in anarchy, another bloody revolution.
