Against all odds, I’m finding a home with the Steel Demons. Reaper worships and dominates me. Jandro sweeps me off my feet. And yet my heart wants more.... Gunner nearly died to protect me, and I’m falling faster than his falcon dives for prey. After endless teasing, he admits he wants me too. The only problem? He doesn’t want to share.

My home, once filled with love and affection, is now cold and empty. As if the war going on outside wasn’t enough, I’m reeling from this hurt and betrayal. Meanwhile, the casualties of this war are piling up. We can only do so much against an enemy we barely understand. They’re closing in and we’re running out of options. And fighters.

That dream went up in flames the same day I graduated nursing school, when women were banned from holding any kind of medical license. Now as an unlicensed medic, I travel what was once the southwestern United States, trading medical services for food, transportation, and shelter with the hopes of reaching Canada.

Somehow, I’m still alive. So are the gruff, dangerous men I’ve found myself strangely at home with. The Steel Demons escaped execution only to find they’ve been betrayed by one of their own. Once an unbreakable brotherhood, tension and distrust grows between them.  

The man I love must kill one of his own. Someone he considered a brother, a fellow Steel Demon, put the entire club in danger. As president, Reaper must crush every last threat to his people, or the Steel Demons MC could cease to exist altogether. Reaper is ruthless. His justice is punishing. But despite his name, he takes no pleasure in executing someone he once trusted. The task is weighing on him. That’s why he needs me.

My heart wants the most dangerous one of all - the golden man with the beautiful smile. Gunner strikes enemies as ruthlessly as his falcon, but when it comes to us, he keeps me tortured and begging for a swift end. He crushed me once, then kissed hope back into me. His indecision will be the slow, painful death of me. I’m done waiting. I’ll make him put me out of my misery or pull the trigger myself. 

We’re on the run. Forced to abandon our home to escape an enemy who always seems one step ahead. The Steel Demons lost a brother, and Reaper is determined not to lose anyone else. Tensions are high while the club wanders the desert in search of a new home. A prospect makes lofty demands. A husband’s jealousy hits a boiling point. But pleasant surprises are also among us. Shadow is emerging from his shell, and the man shining through the scarred exterior is one I’m helpless to resist. 

Hope is blooming in Four Corners. A family, torn apart for years, has been reunited. I’m falling in love again. The Steel Demons are finding a sense of home and purpose in their new surroundings. More is at stake now than ever before. We don’t just have our club to protect, but our new friends, family members, and neighbors. And privately, Reaper is determined to protect me at all costs, due to a cryptic vision from his brother. Our enemies are always lurking. What’s worse, they’re already inside our borders. The gods work in mysterious ways. 

Our home is on the brink of war, and my marriage hangs by a thread. While neighboring armies threaten to march on Four Corners, I’m dealing with a war zone at home. I can’t bring myself to look at Reaper or Gunner, let alone speak to them. I don’t know where my love life stands, or if I even have one anymore. Only Jandro is my rock, and only my work gives me purpose. Eager for a distraction, I jump at the chance to become a battle medic again. Little did I know it would force me to end the weeks of silence between me and my men.

The war is here, and it’s taking a toll on everyone I love. Now that my family is back together, we’re relying on each other more than ever. As a whole, we’re unstoppable. But Reaper and I continue to struggle. This war only adds stress to our already fragile relationship, and I’m not sure we’ll survive it.

Not even the gods can save us. Two of my men have been captured. The rest of us are barely holding on. We’re wanted, and our army stands no chance against the swarm of mind-controlled pawns. Failure is not an option. Abandoning my husbands is not an option. But the longer we take to plan, the closer we get to losing them. Even worse, our companion gods are no help. Horus can’t see them. Freyja can’t heal them. And Hades can only tell me they’re not dead yet. We have everything to lose, and no options left. Jandro, Gunner, and I must do this ourselves.

The war is over. Finally, we can breathe and be a family. With the worst moments of our lives behind us, we have only the future to look forward to. Our twins arrived nearly four years after the Sha was defeated, and now we face a new challenge—parenthood. Whether it’s our daughter taunting the chickens or our son’s fear of water, we’ll take raising them in stride. Most importantly, they’ll never know the horror and loss their parents endured. The gods haven’t spoken to us in years, but we’ve never stopped listening. When they have a message, we’ll be ready.
