Team Leader Nathan Carter and SAW Gunner Travis McGrath are two riflemen and brothers-in-arms in Afghanistan who try to find a balance between their personal lives and the battlefield. But no matter the hurdles they face, the loyalty they have for each other and their fellow Marines comes first.   

"0331" is the US Marine Corps designation for machine gunners, Marines who provide fire support by heavy and medium weapon platforms. Lance Corporals Stecker and Rodriguez work cohesively to bring their medium machine gun against the Taliban. The 0313 is the United States Marine Corps designation for LAV Crewmen, Marines who operate Light Armored Vehicles and specialize in armored reconnaissance. For the Marines who named their LAV, Minority, deployment has been slow and uneventful. Fortunes change when reinforcements are suddenly needed at Combat Outpost Javelin. But first, they'll need to get there and the journey across Afghanistan is long and treacherous.
