Oak Street Trilogy

Six neighborhood friends play together at the Oak Street Tree House. One Saturday, they take the tablet used for playing games and send a message to God. They want to know who he really is. God replies and sends them on three neighborhood field trips to look at different parts of creation. They report back on all they find, and God replies each time saying, "I made that all just for you." Through their adventures, they learn of God's love. At the end of the story God asks them to take good care of all they have seen so other children can also enjoy what he has created.

The neighborhood friends are confronted with a tough choice. Include or exclude the new kid who just moved in. At the end of Book One, they listed the questions they still wanted to ask God in new messages. One of the questions asked, "God, do you really love everyone in the whole world?" It raises the question in the minds of the Oak Street kids: "Do we have to like every new kid who wants to be part of our clubhouse?

Follow the activities of the seven members of the treehouse and their three dogs. Meet their neighbor, George "Grandpa GG" Gonzales, known as the grandpa of Oak Street. In this third book in the series, the kids are introduced to the topic of death when Grandpa GG dies on the way to the hospital. Again in the book, the kids turn to their questions and answers from God each time they message him on the tablet in the treehouse. They had planned a party for the neighborhood. Maybe this wasn't the time for a party... or maybe it was the perfect time?

The Oak Street Treehouse kids invite the neighborhood for a Christmas Cookie Exchange and their telling of the original Christmas story.
