While investigating an incident 7,000 feet deep inside the Duke Mining copper mine, Tom Porter stumbles across a doorway that transports him into a parallel world of hell. He wakes up hairless, bruised, and naked in a wasteland controlled by an insidious faction of people, led by Chief Sanders, Trashman, and The Preacher. Tom journeys through this hell while searching for a way home as insidious men fight to stop him. 

Women are missing, and multiple lie dead, a serial killer preying on the innocent. As if that weren’t bad enough, the town of Mecklenburg is forced into lockdown after a medical helicopter crashes into the Colorado mountains carrying the deadliest plague known to man, ultimately spreading through the town like wildfire.

While in custody, he leads an unnamed man to bodies while others search for the governor’s daughter, Julie. The bodies are piling up. Yet, the discarded license of the governor’s daughter brings light to her absence. Where is she? What did he do with Julie? Time is running out as the governor abuses every ounce of his power to save her! When the bones are collected, will John Varnum pay for his sins?
