At a remote site in Minnesota, filmmaker Kurt Carpenter has built a secure compound and invited a select group of people to bunker down until the worst is over. The world into which they re-emerge is like nothing they've ever seen. At first they think they're the only ones left. But they soon find out how wrong they are. In the wasteland of what used to be America, their battle to survive is only just beginning.

For 100 years after a nuclear holocaust annihilated civilization, the Family has eked out a meager existence in the wilds of what used to be Minnesota. But something is going wrong in the Home. People aren't living as long as they used to. Mutations are becoming more common. To ensure their survival, there's only one thing the Family can do: venture outside the compound walls for help. Three of their best warriors are chosen for the task – Blade, Hickok and Geronimo.

In what was once America’s heartland dwell the survivors of the nuclear holocaust that annihilated most of civilization, leaving a scorched land filled with roving bands of vicious outlaws and savage new breeds of deadly creatures. A team of warriors known as the Alpha Triad have vowed to defend the Home, the survivors’ last refuge. Blade, Hickok and Geronimo are all that stand between a tenuous existence and certain death. The Triad’s latest mission is a trek to the Twin Cities to acquire medical supplies.

The Earth is devastated, left a desolate wasteland of mutant beings and desperate renegades by the final holocaust of World War III. Out of the ashes rose Blade, leader of the brutal fighting force known as the Alpha Triad. Together the Triad must risk sudden death to retrieve the vital serum that would save a handful of survivors from a lethal disease. But first the Triad must fend off hordes of deranged humanoids, a hideously deformed creature that hungered for human flesh, and make their way through a long-dead city ruled by warring factions that let no one survive!

The Family: Isolated survivors of World War III, they huddled together for safety, surrounded by savage barbarians and bizarre, deadly mutants. The Alpha Triad: Blade, Hickock and Geronimo were the fighting arm of The Family – hard men, skilled in staying alive, no matter what the cost.

Postnuclear America was a slagheap littered with the charred debris of the holocaust. Only a few survivors remained - some dedicated to rebuilding civilization, most determined to drive humanity deeper into the abyss. Blade, an Alpha Triad Warrior, was a knife fighter with a razor-sharp temper. He had sworn to protect The Home from all invaders - but this time he had to slaughter the innocent to save the guilty.

It was a mission of mercy that turned into a run with death as Blade and the Alpha Triad tried to rescue the pathetic remnants of humanity from the festering stinkhole that had once been the Twin Cities. Captured, tortured, and marked for "Reabsorption," the Triad had about as much chance to survive as a snowflake in a thermonuclear blast....

Accompanied by members of the Freedom Federation, Blade and his deadly team rolled into a small Wyoming town hoping to slaughter the Doktor in a final ambush. But the predators quickly became the prey when they were cut off and surrounded by a savage hoard of blood-thirsty half-humans. They were seven against an army and their epic battle would live on throughout the ages - if any of them survived to tell the tale.

The last vestige of civilization is under attack by a horde of savage fighters determined to plunge the world into total darkness and ignorance. Undermanned, outgunned, and overmatched, the Warriors of the Home desperately need help. But help is hundreds of miles away in Denver, and only one man has the courage and strength to accomplish the impossible. If he fails, the Home will perish; if he succeeds, it might be his last act of heroism.

Washington, DC was in the tight grip of the Russians. They planned to use their base on the Potomac to launch an all-out attack on the warring states of America. But the Red Menace made one mistake - they thought Blade and the Warriors would go like lambs to the slaughter. Instead, they fought with a savagery that would drive the invaders back to the land of perpetual nuclear winter.

After the nuclear holocaust, New York City became a zombie-ridden chaos where no sane man would willingly go. But Blade and his men had to venture into the fallen metropolis. For a renowned scientist claimed the solution to the world’s food shortage lay hidden beneath the city, and he needed them to find it. If the warriors succeeded in their quest, there would be shouts of joy - if they failed, the world would die without a whimper.

Blade and his warriors had to penetrate the Soviet base in Philadelphia, where the Russians had captured the one group of men capable of destroying them - the fierce Vikings. With their help, Blade could save the Federation; without it, civilization would be lost forever.

Using advanced weapons and primitive instincts, they vowed to die before admitting defeat. When the Warriors trapped the Assassins in an abandoned amusement park, the stage was set for an all-out war that would decide the fate of an already desperate planet.

Manta was a crazed mutant with a lust for power, the latest threat to the free people of ravaged North America. He had taken over Seattle and was thirsting for more conquest. Before Manta could extend his empire, the Warriors had to penetrate his fortress and enforce their own brand of justice.

The Nevada Run - On the trail of kidnappers, the Warriors stumbled upon a city they thought was long dead - tawdry, decadent Las Vegas. The once-proud mecca of sand and sin was now a cesspool of depravity and danger, a killing ground where death was the prime form of amusement. And it didn't take a bookmaker to calculate the Warriors' odds on survival.
