What happened to him, and why is Alice, president of the Sky Dreamer Corp, so evasive whenever his name is brought up? Meanwhile, Tic Tac UFO sightings have greatly increased, along with those of the TR-3B Astras, the top-secret US antigravity military craft.

When rumors begin reaching Eden of strange lights beneath the seas surrounding Cuba and the presence of Russian spy ships and subs in the area, Lauren and the team quickly realize that the sightings have all the hallmarks of a waiting micro mind. But if so, why hasn’t there been an accompanying neutrino burst? The team stand on the cusp of discovering the true purpose of the micro minds, but can they beat the Russians and their Overseer masters to it before all hope is extinguished for any hope of our planet’s survival?

Ever since Lauren and the rest of the team activated the Resonancy Generator near Cuba, the radio signature of our planet known as Earth Song has been changed forever. But it’s raised as many questions as it answered, including why the signal didn’t revert back to normal after nearly all the micro minds were all awoken. Could it be there is something else coded into the Earth Song signal and whose purpose hasn’t yet been fulfilled? And if so, does this relate to the buried Angelus secret that lies at the heart of all micro minds?

Whilst Lauren and the team work to bring Tempest’s systems rapidly online, Eden is throwing all its resources into preparing starship for battle. Production is also working flat out to replace as many of the X-craft as possible after so many were lost at the battle with the Kimprak over Antarctica. With everything now on the line, they must also attempt to create a true alliance with a former enemy if our world to have any chance of defending itself from the alien threat.
