Cornerstone

The German priest, Martin Luther, said, "Every man must do two things alone; he must do his own believing and his own dying." This being said, we learn, borrow, and can even restore our faith with the help of our loved ones. This story is about two brothers, Jeff and Joe Bauer. Jeff is a commercial fisherman in Alaska. His older brother Joe is a farmer in North Dakota. Joe discovers a mysterious cornerstone in the foundation of his 1905 farmhouse that holds the power to alter history.

As the quote by Irish statesman Edmund Burke goes, “The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.” Tim Bauer, Hans Baumann, Colette Bauer, Bradley Mansavage, and their like are the good people who will do everything required, including laying down their own lives, to ensure that evil does not triumph. In this second installment of the Cornerstone series, two young members of the Bauer family are going to need all of the skills, courage, and luck they can put together to defeat evil in two very different places and times. They are The Peacekeepers.
