Books of Magick

After swapping an iPad for a forbidden book of magick, Francesca and her brother Lucian have unwittingly drawn the attention of the magickal factions of mankind. Wizards, druids, and witches now seek the power of the children but have yet to learn who their father is. An ancient enemy from a distant past and a legend best left forgotten, Daire must rise from the ashes of history in defense of his children.

Surviving the vampire assault after their father’s disappearance, Francesca and Lucian must prepare themselves for what now lies ahead. A darkness is coming, an evil incarnate whom the world must unite against if it is to survive. What calls to this new-found menace? What draws it like a moth to a flame? The mages suspect and so, too, the Fae Queen, but does she have the strength to do what is necessary?

With their house lying in ruin and after witnessing the unthinkable, Francesca and Lucian are whisked away to a remote castle to learn the art of magick. Hiding their true identities from the other children, they are told to keep their gifts a secret, but there is a darkness in Lucian, an inherited evil that will not be contained.

After returning to the safety of their home, Kristina and the children are given a brief respite from the magickal world before they are sought out yet again. A presence in the forest leads to a transformation that will change them forever, but who has the power to cause this great change, if not the Fae Queen herself? In a race against time, a quest is undertaken to enter the underworld in an attempt to retrieve what was lost, but only those of the same blood must go or none shall return.
