Berserker & Slayer

Jaran Saerk lets vengeful wrath guide his blade. As scarred in youth by his dad’s murder as he is by battle now, the much-feared Northman berserker has grown into a master of meting out death. But, his latest victim spills more than his dying guts when he reveals clues to the deadly sorceress Jaran vowed to make pay. Exiled from his home, rebellious Northman Jaran Saerk serves Imperial Shen in the long-running war against the Cardalan Republic. After illegally killing a man, Jaran falls foul of his Shen leaders and finds himself with enemies on all sides. His only desire is to find and kill the witch Sheega, who stole his inheritance and murdered his kin. But first, he has to overcome the creatures she keeps sending his way.

Three companions must unite against the forces of dark magic and faerie as the battle for Ansu continues. Savarna is missing, captured by the witch Sheega. Jaran, Saerk, and Finvar must cross into the frozen realms to save her, battling demons and new terrors. Meanwhile, Savarna’s twin brother must choose: save his sister or save the woman he loves as the warlord Calla invades their land.

As Jaran and Savarna reach his island, Valkador, the witch prepares for their welcome. Sheega has new allies, including the vile trickster, Lofhi, who has a hold over their friend.
