Trapped with no way out and hunted by Nyx, the game’s mysterious AI overlord, Silas must rely on unlikely allies: NPCs who have developed minds of their own and rival players who may be friend, foe, or both. His only hope of survival lies in completing the game’s final, hidden quest before his real body—still lying helpless in the physical world—shuts down for good.

But Eclipse Online is more than just a game. Its AI is evolving. The world is rewriting itself. And as Silas grows closer to Kiera, a rogue knight NPC who refuses to believe she isn’t real, he begins to question the nature of reality itself. If he escapes, she—and everything she loves—will be erased.

Then Nyx offers him a choice: escape and destroy the world, or stay and rule as its new guardian.
