The past couple of years have been rough. At times, Rona has felt so much despair that she's wondered if it was all worth the struggle. Just as she is beginning to see a light at the end of the tunnel, another catastrophe strikes. In true Rona Shively fashion, she digs in deep and soon finds that this girl's problems run much deeper than a gumshoe of mediocre talents can handle.

Rona Shively needs something. She's not sure what it is, but she knows it's something. Summoned home by a mother she hates, she heads back to Ohio to check on things. When she gets there, her mother asks her to help out a local reverend who is a long time friend of the family. Rona soon finds herself surrounded by greed, corruption and criminals who will stop at nothing to get what they want. With the help of a handsome, local P.I., she tries to piece it all together before the bad guys figure out she's looking. Through it all, can she "keep the faith"?

Rona Shively has been thinking a lot lately. Her mind is going in about a million different directions and for good reason. What starts out as a meeting with a potential client ends up being the title sequence for a whole series of messes that make absolutely no sense. She's trying to keep herself calm, but given the circumstances she'll be doing good just to keep herself out of jail and...out of the morgue.
