Doolittle is a sweet dog with a yawning problem. His family tried everything to stop the yawning because it's contagious. Everywhere Doolittle goes, he yawns and makes others yawn too, which is an interesting natural wonder. One day, it all changes and something miraculous occurs.

Lil' Boy is just an ordinary child growing up on his father's farm in a little place called Creek Town. But in the 1960s, even the most average black boy had something to worry about. All Lil' Boy wants is to wear his bright red hat, have some fun and adventure...and get out of doing his chores. Then, one day, everything changes. After he is attacked with rocks being thrown at him by several angry men driving their truck along the road, Lil' Boy makes a promise to himself: when he gets older, he will own that road, and no one will ever throw rocks at him again.

Follow Halian, Elizabeth, Brandon, and Emma as they briefly leave their pets to go play soccer only to return and find that their pets have gone on a mini adventure. Are the talking pets having more fun than their owners? Do their owners even know their pets could talk? Come and find out!

Lujien, my six-year-old daughter, came home one day with the idea of a story of a fish struggling in her school because she is weak. As a physician, I have seen firsthand how physical therapists work to help patients succeed. The idea of our book is to help children understand disabilities, and the role physical therapists play in helping them heal. By making the story about a small fish and (not a human), we hope that kids will better absorb and understand the idea of disability.
