Chris wakes up on a camping trip in Wales with memory loss, while his girlfriend, Kate, is seemingly unaffected. As he experiences the same day repeatedly, he begins to uncover unsettling differences and struggles to make sense of his situation.

These poems were mostly written in 1987 while recovering in Clifton, Bristol in England. It heralded the start of a huge change for me, and I felt broken. The love of my life had just come to a messy end, and I’d been hitting the LSD too hard. Things felt beyond my control, and I now had to learn how to wait out the wounds for the first time. I began to write, to compensate for the anxiety and emotional state that I was struggling with.

Sometimes I feel like a puppet, in a loser’s show. I'm not sure of what I do anymore, though I've been avoiding it for so long. The reason’s lost, why I go on. Can I build it back, when I keep getting it wrong?
