The endearing elephant God known by many names is believed to bring good fortune and remove obstacles. The elephant head represents immense wisdom and perfection. The big ears represent always willing to listen to new ideas. The small mouse represents our desires which should be small enough and also indicates that we should not be greedy.

Every creature expects only pleasure and happiness. To obtain pleasure, the divine power should be the shadow of a white umbrella. Or else, no pleasure is obtained by the creature in any way. Let the creature do the worship of Lord Shiva or Shakti (goddess). He should understand its procedure or its inner secret. The devotion in Shakti and Lord Shiva leads to nirvana. The miracles of Devi cannot be explained. Through that loving Bhavani's love, the whole universe will get salvation.
