Aldric knew from a young age that he was destined to become a mage. After running from home at the age of six he was taken in by the Arch Mage Lorelei Ironheart, and brought under her care and tutelage at the orphanage she runs with her husbands. After crushing the dwarf, Torg Frosthammer, and bonding with Jordan, Aldric just wants to relax and enjoy the summer break before classes start again. But that is not his lot in life.
