Welcome to Funcliffe park. It’s a crusty old caravan park that's falling into the sea, the neighbours are all weird, but forget about that! Have a cuppa and a crumpet instead. It’s 1999 and Nanna wants to keep her football-mad grandson Nobby out of trouble, but everything’s going wrong. Nobby’s having a terrible birthday, Nanna's whacked the local MP with a marigold glove and worst of all, she’s just stewed the tea. Will Nanna and Nobby triumph? Or is it full time for Funcliffe?

I originally did research and wrote a term paper but was officially told by the Air War College in 1986 that us worrying about military in the Middle East was unrealistic, we would never have involvement of US military forces in the Middle East and will never face a threat from them. I used the research from that paper to write this novel for a public warning that the time is near. While the characters are fiction, the military ramifications are real. I should have re-published it prior to 9/11, but this novel is only a bare beginning of what may soon be history.
