A year and a half has passed since the fall of Luvanasis. Atticus and Daria have joined Prince Victor in restoring the land, but when a deadly quest has Atticus return home to El-Valr, he and his friends make haste to the Descendant's Chamber. Only to find out the Dark Descendant has released the second darkness -the She Serpent.

Divided, Atticus, Daria, Prince Victor, and Zane must endure The Descendants Trials, a series of tests given to them by Sofos, each unique to them. Zane must see his way through Bonvidian history, while Prince Victor fights to prove his worth. Daria must survive the unknown that surrounds her.
