『一房の葡萄』は、1920年（大正9年）児童雑誌『赤い鳥』8月号に掲載された童話の名作。学校で起きたある出来事から、良心の呵責に苛まれる少年と女性教師の包容力を描いた作品。 有島 武郎（ありしま たけお、東京生まれ、1878年 - 1923年）。志賀直哉や武者小路実篤らと同人誌「白樺」に参加。代表作は、『カインの末裔』『或る女』『生まれ出づる悩み』など。

「すぐそこ」は1969年（昭和44年）週刊朝日に掲載された作品です。
田舎の人は基本的に親切ですが、時間感覚や距離感がややのんびりしすぎに感じることがあります。知らない土地で迷子になり、訊ねた人から目的地が「すぐそこ」との返事をもらえれば嬉しいもの。主人公も山道で迷子になり、そんな田舎の人の親切心に救われるはずでしたが…。
作者、小松左京（こまつさきょう、大阪生まれ、1931年 - 2011年）。日本を代表するＳＦ作家。1961年「地には平和を」でＳＦ作家としてデビュー。「日本沈没」「復活の日」など映画化された長編の名作や、「ゴルディアスの結び目」などの短編小説の名作も多数執筆している。又、1970年の大阪万博のテーマ館のサブ・プロデューサー、1990年の国際花と緑の博覧会の総合プロデューサーを務めるなど、その才能は多岐にわたりました。Failed to add items
