One day while sitting around the dinner table with his family, Victor Briggs’s Uncle Tim told him that on a visit to Hawaii, he had met an Indigenous Hawaiian Elder who told him a story. A long time ago, Indigenous Australian seafarers had sailed to Hawaii on the trade winds.

Falling through a portal and becoming a dragon shifter was strange enough. But, when I devoured a demon core and gained access to a forbidden quest system, my life changed forever. Sintar was like Earth in many ways. It had a blue sky, green grass, and air that I could breath. The demon attacks and shifter magic, however, were new. Every man and woman in Sintar had the ability to change their form. And now, that included me. And the gorgeous, silver-haired wolf girl I saved on my first day.

Living side by side with my gorgeous wolf shifter, life in Sintar has almost become normal...almost. Few things in my old life back on Earth could have prepared me for my unofficial role as a Quest Giver. Easy Street continues to thrive, though, so I must be doing something right.

When the stars vanish and heroes follow suit, it seems there’s no one left to try to stop an unseen power from taking over the world.
