The Coming Insurrection is an eloquent call to arms arising from the recent waves of social contestation in France and Europe. Commonly known as The Torture Report, the document was made public, with redactions, on December 9, 2009. The events surrounding its investigation, writing, and publication are now the subject of Scott Z.
