Joining us in the Audible Studios to talk about her narration of Mary Elizabeth Braddon’s The Christmas Hirelings is BAFTA Award-winning British actress Jennifer Saunders. She has fronted programmes including The First Georgians: The German Kings Who Made Britain and A Very British Romance, and she copresented Dancing Cheek to Cheek: An Intimate History of Dance. Her latest book, Jane Austen at Home, is a new telling of the story of Jane's life.

Joining us at Audible Studios is actor Colin Morgan. Morgan has been appearing on stage and television since 2007, performing at The Globe Theatre and The National Theatre and starring in programmes such as Merlin, Doctor Who, Humans and The Fall. He spoke to us about his amazing career so far, as well as his experience of the audiobook world after reading The Worldship Humility by R R Haywood.

Thompson has previously worked on screen adaptations of Austen’s novels, including writing the screenplay of Sense and Sensibility, for which she won an Academy Award for the Best Adapted Screenplay. The film is still considered one of the all-time best screen adaptations of a Jane Austen novel and inspired the resurgence of Austen adaptations. Isabella Inchbald is a newcomer in comparison but very well versed in voice work, winning the prestigious BBC Carleton Hobbs Award 2017, and is perfect for our heroine, Emma Woodhouse.

Stephen Fry joins Robin Morgan in the Audible Studios to discuss his recording of Sherlock Holmes: The Definitive Collection. From his childhood days as a member of the Sherlock Holmes Society to his performance as Mycroft Holmes, Stephen shares anecdotes relating to his lifelong passion for Sherlock Holmes. He also discusses his experience recording the Harry Potter audiobooks, his own penchant for audiobooks, and his plans for the future.

Matt Coyne received international fame after his parenting blog, Man vs Baby, went viral and won the hearts of thousands of parents across the globe. He has now put together his stories of fatherhood, along with his advice for parents, in a new book called Dummy: The Comedy and Chaos of Real-Life Parenting. Matt Coyne visits the Audible Studios to tell us more.

Ben Ryan is best known for coaching the Fiji sevens team to two Sevens World Series titles and a gold medal in sevens rugby at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Guiding the Fiji sevens team to historic achievements and setting the highest ever record of tournament titles won by a sevens coach, Ryan is arguable the most successful men’s rugby coach in the world. His latest book, Sevens Heaven, was published in May 2018.

Joining us at Audible Studios is Sian Thomas, a well-renowned actor on stage, in television and in films, and a regular audiobook narrator. She told us about her incredible career so far, her plans for the future and her role narrating the Mother in Fiona Barton’s new novel, The Suspect.
