Steve Lake receives a phone call during his consultant training exercise in Houston, Texas, that his father has passed away. Steve is distraught after hearing the news about his father. Steve makes arrangements to travel to Ontario, Canada, with his family. Steve is in disbelief as he leaves Houston driving back home. Steve remembers his father surrounding him with so much love after his mother died in the year 1972. While thinking about all the beautiful things he and his father have done, Steve hears his phone beep three times, telling him he has a message.
