AI Slop is a poem written in response to all the AI Videos being 'aired' and feedback from these latest AI video escapees from the norm, now coming in the mix of regular video viewing. It highlights just some of the AI videos and clips and their ridiculous framing into the normal landscape of real world situations. As a tool for stretching the imagination, it is a veritable candidate, until it crosses over from the sublime to the ridiculous, and therefore entering the slop house which I call AI Slop.

This is the newest version of 'The Shortest Day' which is bridged with new bridging verses to give it a different outlook and flavor to the poetry. It is not as compact and tight as the original but it has its own dynamics I actually prefer the bridged version, what do you think?

The inspiration for this Poem, I think started writing initially after the title popped into my head. It seemed quite unusual and yet scintillating. I didn't really know where the 'road' was going to lead to.. I knew about 'out of Africa' for the human race, and realized that that was what I was aiming for. Many African nations where 'gifted' mobile phones or very cheaply from the old used stock in the early 2000's and that was the return point to Africa - Namibia being the early tribesman - their region being where humanity is supposed to have sprung from!

This is the 5th and final Poem written about the wonderful Karolina and her Violin playing in California on the streets of Santa Monica. Includes some verse on her family.
