I continue to be a student of The Language of Recovery and agree with the Greek philosopher Heraclitus who said, “No man ever steps into the same river twice, for it’s not the same river and he is not the same man.” Change is the only constant in life, and each new experience we should be treated with compete awareness, curiosity and full engagement. This being the case, I have rethought the order of the key strategies presented in the original edition.
