Her hands grip the steering wheel, and her foot slams down on the brake. There is a god-awful screeching noise as the tires skid across the asphalt. It's too little too late, and her vehicle collides with the large, furry beast, with a hard thud. The creature is flung from her vehicle, landing in a mangled, bleeding heap. Jackie can't believe it's even still alive. Despite the danger, her years of veterinary training kick in, and she gets to work to try to save its life.

After one glorious night, Rushe considers the human doctor to be his. His. Damn. It. Unfortunately, he must bide his time before being permitted to pursue Becky. Ross, on the other hand, wastes no time in going after what he wants, namely, one lush human. The scent of another male on her skin only incites him further to eradicate the shifter from her mind, by whatever means necessary.

I was exiled by my pack over ten years ago. Why? Because I’m different and different is apparently bad. They are dead to me. I’m better off without them. I know the feeling is mutual. They become more and more overprotective with each passing day and may have gone a little overboard in the process.

Since most vampire females are not able to birth young, a program is started to ensure the continuation of the vampire species. The vampire elite must fight, fist and fang, for a much sought after place in the program and a chance to date human women. There are a multitude of beautiful human females in attendance. They have been handpicked to ensure that they are irresistible to vampire males. Why is it then that York wants the one female he can't have?

The eligible dragon shifter males must hunt a handful of females. It's first catch, first serve. The biggest problem is that the females are human. Despite feedback to the contrary, Coal thinks they are weak and breakable. In his opinion, not capable of surviving the hunt, let alone the mating that will follow. He doesn't believe that a lowly human is capable of birthing him a royal heir, so why has his brother, the king, tasked him with claiming one?

Azure has resigned herself - just like many of the infertile dragon females - to being single forever. She's okay with that. Her feelings change when she comes into heat for the first time. Why now? His position is not yet cemented. His first order of business is to choose an elven female. One he can take as a mate. Keto desperately needs heirs. It is expected of him and must happen soon. Why can't he get a certain vampire female out of his head though?

The last thing Tamara expected was to be snatched away by a winged beast. This hadn’t been part of the brief. Was this normal hunt behavior? Surely not. She had a really bad feeling about this. Once the feeling settled in the pit of her stomach, it wouldn’t let go.
