Joining us at Audible Studios is Louise Doughty, an English fiction and non-fiction writer, a playwright and a journalist. Doughty studied for an MA in Creative Writing. As her writing for newspapers and radio began to garner more attention, she wrote and released her first novel, and hasn't stopped since then. One of her novels, Apple Tree Yard, was adapted into a BBC series under the same name.

Joining us at Audible Studios is Anne Griffin, debut author of the next great Irish novel, When All Is Said. Griffin’s novel depicts an Irish farmer who orders five drinks over the course of one night to toast each of the five most important people in his life. His life is laid bare, in its loves and feuds, regrets and triumphs, all through the five people who have left him behind. We spoke about her inspiration for the book, her literary career so far and what her plans are for the future.

Joining us in the Audible Studios to discuss her first book, When the Dogs Don't Bark, is forensic scientist Professor Angela Gallop. Angela also talks to us about the importance of advancements in forensic technology, her own intriguing career, including her involvement in many high-profile criminal cases, and the recent trend for professional memoirs.

Alongside editorial work, Stacey has written her first novel, an exciting historical fiction set within the drama of the 1612 Pendle witch trials.

Angela tells us how she came up for the idea, a bit about her protagonist, Jenna, and the importance of her fanbase. Joining us at Audible Studios for the second time is R. R. Haywood, author of Amazon UK’s number one horror series The Undead, and Washington Post best-selling author of The Undead series and the Extracted trilogy (both of which are Audible best sellers!). He talks to us about the first book in his new trilogy, The Worldship Humility, a science-fiction novel detailing the escapades of a petty thief and an Airlock Operative who accidentally steal a code with information about a new habitable planet.

In 1989 she moved to Botswana where she worked for the country's first tabloid newspaper, The Voice, and later as editor of the Okavango Observer. She received a Journalist of the Year award.
