After studying Journalism at the University of Central Lancashire, Stacey worked as an assistant editor at We Love This Book magazine and a media editor at the Bookseller magazine, as well as writing for Psychologies, The Independent, and Fabulous magazine, where she is now Deputy Chief Sub-Editor. Alongside editorial work, Stacey has written her first novel, an exciting historical fiction set within the drama of the 1612 Pendle witch trials.
