This YA anthology features thirteen short stories that creatively turn superhero tropes on their head, while still paying homage to the genre that has found fans for more than eight decades. And there will be no mistake—superheroes don’t have to just be generic handsome white dudes.

It turns out that an enslaved boy and hundreds of other people spent more than six hundred days carving the Needle out of stone and pulling it upright. And another kid’s drawings were used to create the hieroglyphs on its sides.

Sixth grade takes a turn for the weird when Hector Griggs discovers he has the ability to turn invisible. Sure, ever since Hector’s former best friend Blake started bullying him, he’s been feeling like he just wants to disappear…but he never thought he actually would. And then, Hector meets another invisible boy, Orson Wellington, who has an ominous warning: “I’m stuck here. Stuck like this. It’s been years. The gelim’s hunting me and it’ll get you, too.”

Baby Zeke and his squad have returned from the Nether after escaping from Shadow Light at the end of Book 14. But now, Shadow Light is after them and is intent on conquering every realm in Baby Zeke's dimension. Can Zeke defeat yet another foe? Or is his world doomed to be reduced to shadow and light?

At the end of Book 9, things looked desperate for the Rebellion. After Rebellion HQ was destroyed, only about six rebels remained. Wickham, the Guild, and Robert Dretsky seem to have gotten everything they wanted.
