After the events that previously occurred near the northeastern border of the Kingdom, Milton has a lot of work to do. Not only does the Station Core have to hide his dungeon from the rampaging hordes originating from the Quizard Mountains, but he has to find somewhere to put thousands of children who are heading towards his dungeon for safety. If that wasn’t bad enough, Milton also has to find a place for millions of other citizens to live; even though they don’t even know who or what the Station Core is, they are counting on him to keep them safe.

Even after pre-ordering the pod that would allow them to play "Glendaria Awakens", Krista and Devin still had to wait months before they were able to experience the newest in VRMMORPG (virtual reality massively multiplayer online role-playing game) technology. The wait was definitely worth it as they entered into a game world that was virtually indistinguishable from real life - apart from the obvious game elements of course. After starting in a typical starting town, they learned everything they needed to survive in this new world.

After recovering from the effects of a Core shard taking over her mind, Sandra had developed a way to bond with nearby Dungeon Cores, “pacifying” them in the process. Consistent culling of the Monsters within their dungeons would still be required, but no longer would the surrounding areas be dangerous with wandering Monsters sent out by those Cores. Accomplishing all of that will inevitably lead to a greater responsibility that Sandra wouldn’t be able to handle on her own. Fortunately, the surrounding races are more than willing to step up.

After a hard-fought battle in the heart, Progen has defeated the agents of the entity that wants to destroy the body he is determined to control. It was a temporary defeat, however, as the entity retreated up into the body’s brain, safely entrenched behind the blood-brain barrier that is preventing the dungeon crystal from accessing the coveted home base of the central nervous system. Elmer Robbins has somehow managed to survive his new existence as a dungeon core, despite everything working against him. After first creating a Christmas-themed section and then a Valentine’s Day-themed series of rooms, he began to acquire enough life force from unfortunate adventurers dying inside of his dungeon, allowing him to repeatedly increase his core level. In short, his little part of the world was unexpectedly invaded by thousands of foreign Heroes.

Elmer Robbins was turned into a dungeon core after an untimely death back on Earth, and he had a heck of time learning how to survive in the new, strange world of Bershia. However, by adopting “Holidays” as a theme and creating the first few rooms of his dungeon focused on Christmas, he learned how to protect his Core from being destroyed by Adventurers. While Elmer was steadily increasing his core level - the eventual goal of which was to break down the barrier in his core separating him from the soul of his wife, Mary - there is trouble brewing in his dungeon.

The previous devastating events inside of Tacca’s dungeon were only the beginning of a wider invasion of the continent of Abenlure. The death of so many Raiders inside of her arena at the hands of the Invaders would normally be a boon to the Fairy-turned-Core and the nearby Nursery Cores, but the attrition of the Raider Delving Clan’s numbers is worrisome. Especially when an unsettling discovery up to the far north will revise everything they know about the Interdimensional Beings that are invading their world.

After their Dungeon Core was stolen, Devin headed out of their dungeon, searching for those who had taken it. Initially confused on where it could be located, he followed a vague feeling in his chest toward a distant destination. Finding help from a guild of players who also wanted to return the Core, they embark on a mission to reacquire and return it before time runs out.

After successfully completing his objective inside the house in South Carolina, the transformed soul of serial killer Clive Logan was randomly transported to another location as his reward. Something about the new house he found himself in was quite different, however; whereas the Spirit Core had previously “haunted” a house filled with only adult targets, two children that apparently lived in the new location - a young boy and a slightly older girl - were thrown into the mix.

When Krista and Devin first started playing Glendaria Awakens, they had no idea that they would end up in charge of operating a dungeon. Now, after leveling up, they have a crisis on their hands. The Greater Temporal Fox-turned-Dungeon Core moves on to another Wildlands region in her efforts to stop a temporal ritual from destroying the world while saving the rest of her captured family in the process. This third region, the Verdant Forest, is a land of tall trees, wild beasts, and dungeons that are unique in the fact that they are tied to the very nature of the environment.
