Publisher's Summary

Milton, Brint, Whisp, and the Guardian Guild are back in the conclusion to the Station Cores series!

After the events that previously occurred near the northeastern border of the Kingdom, Milton has a lot of work to do. Not only does the Station Core have to hide his dungeon from the rampaging hordes originating from the Quizard Mountains, but he has to find somewhere to put thousands of children who are heading towards his dungeon for safety.

If that wasn’t bad enough, Milton also has to find a place for millions of other citizens to live; even though they don’t even know who or what the Station Core is, they are counting on him to keep them safe. With that safety, though, comes a chance at something that they never thought they’d have: power...and revenge.

Milton isn’t just going to build more habitations for them to stay comfortably in his new Underground Kingdom; no, he has a proposition for them that they would be fools to ignore. The acquisition of new abilities means that the need for an immediate education on how to control those new powers is paramount. Strangely enough, it’s time for some new students to enroll in Milton’s new Guardian University.

But will they be able to learn well and fast enough to get the revenge they seek? In the end, they’ll have to - especially if they want to take on and defeat the army fielded by...the other Core.

Contains litRPG and gamelit elements such as level progression and experience, optional tables, no harems, and a heavy dungeon core emphasis.

Great end

One of the best series I’ve ever listened to.
One small problem with the audio near the end but it’s bearable.
Either way great book, great narration and great series.

Great end to this series.

The kingdom is gone and only Milton and the people he could save are left but they have to take out the other core and it's minions if they are going to survive on this planet.
This is the story of the epic last battle. How are they going to eliminate millions upon millions of huge monsters?
Brooks makes this last book in the series epic. Milton helps the locals power up beyond anything they could have ever even dreamed of just a couple of years before.
One of the great things about the MC, Milton, is that he doesn't have to help the locals. He, at this point, could just finish collecting the resources he needs and get off the planet. But he stays despite the fact that he could die himself.
Meili helps get you right into the heads of the characters and the heat of battle.
If you like fantasy, dungeons, monsters, battles and especially LitRPG you are going to love this book.

nice agian.

Again a great instalment. Space flights and defending his people again on the next chapter. I liked this one because you just didn't leave an enemy at your back because it shows how close the core as changed but kept his humanity. It will be interesting if he can find Earth. Wow

Great Finish hope to see more of this universe

Loved all 5 books and the narrator was perfect. Really enjoyed the end that left it just open enough for a future series in the same universe with same characters I hope to see that soon :)

Conclusion???

I have throughly enjoyed this series. When Mr Brooks said at the end of the series, I mentally screamed. But then he said he would look into the future adventures of Milton (eagerly awaiting) I sighed in relief. So thanks for the wonderful books Mr Brooks and to Miles Meili as well.

Satisfying conclusion to series

As the final book in a five book series, this one obviously isn't a suitable point for new readers to be joining in, but the series as a whole is very enjoyable and if you haven't already you should check out the previous books in it first.

Due to the nature of the events at the end of book four, this one again sees some minor time skipping to ensure the story does not get bogged down into some kind of training montage as the author heads towards the conclusion of the series. While obviously wanting to avoid specifics, he manages to produce a strong conclusion to this book and the series with some interesting callbacks to the earliest parts of it too.

The narration for the book was once again a good one, helping to enhance the enjoyment of the book with a suitably distinctive range of tones for the main cast to help the reader.

Overall, an enjoyable end to the series, although hopefully not to the station core universe since there is obviously room for more stories there.

A good conclusion to a great series.

I always worry when reading (well listening to) a series that sooner or later the quality will drop off, but happily that had not happened at any point with Jonathan Brooks's Station Core series.

This book bring it to a well told conclusion, with interesting characters, good tension, drama, conflict, and clever solutions to tricky situations.

As he has throughout the series, Miles Meili dies a great job of bringing the characters to life, and is a pleasure to listen to throughout.

All in all, I'm quite definitely happy to recommend both the book and the series as worth picking up.

like the book but...

I like the plot of the series and love the character developments i even like the stats but i just can't get over the cursing. like there are Full sentences of cursing. this is a good book but for some people some like me that amount of cursing is a no-no. esp for an audiobook. but i would still read it and recommend it because it is a great book with a great story. however, sorry although it was a great performance and the plot is good, i would probably stick to Reading this than Listening to it. will probably enjoy it that way. so if you are not averse to cursing like a pirate/trucker and you like Dungeon Litrpgs that involves stats(i love those) you would love this book series. Just try it!
