Croque-Bisous est encore en retard, la petite souris dort déjà. Même endormie, elle a l'air très en colère : pas question pour Croque-Bisous de croquer ses bisous. À moins qu'il ne soit plus malin, et que, malgré tout, il réussisse à les avoir.

C'est la nuit des étoiles filantes, et Petite Souris n'en a jamais vu. Croque-Bisous l'entraîne dans le jardin pour les regarder, mais elles n'apparaissent pas tout de suite, et Petite Souris trouve le temps long.

Il pleut ce soir. Petite Souris se demande si Croque-Bisous va pouvoir venir. Enfin, le voilà ! Croque-Bisous fait découvrir à Petite souris les joies de la pluie où l'on chante et l'on danse avec les escargots.

Croque-Bisous tape à la fenêtre de Petite Souris et l'empêche de dormir : il veut un bisou ! Il est si mignon que Petite Souris ne peut s'empêcher de le laisser entrer. Mais Croque-Bisous aime trop les bisous, un seul ne lui suffit pas.

Ce soir, Petite Souris demande à Croque-Bisous de rester avec elle car elle croit qu'il y a un monstre sous son lit ! Pas de problème, Croque-Bisous est là, il sait comment s'y prendre avec les monstres sous les lits.
