Murders are happening outside Charlotte's hottest nightspots. A new vampire society has set up shop in the sewers. And Jimmy Black's about to run afoul of the Master of the City. If Jimmy weren't already a vampire, the week ahead would be the death of him.

In the second volume of The Black Knight Chronicles, vampire detectives Jimmy Black and Greg Knightwood investigate a series of assaults plaguing the alleys of Charlotte. Along the way they battle trolls, bigotry, fairies, dragons, and small minds on the way to a knock-down battle royal inside a steel cage. The boys find themselves fighting evil in alleys, trolls in bars, and dragons in FairyLand and trying to scrub the sparkle off after a battle with vicious fae in the hall of the fairy queen. Yeah, really. All that and vampires, too.

Bubba the Monster Hunter is back from Fairyland and trying to figure out how he fits into the normal(ish) world again. He's got a job as a bouncer at the Don't Drop Inn, but that all goes up in smoke (way too literally) when his newest case comes waltzing in the front door with a mini zombie apocalypse in tow!

Harmon Tomeral and his friends wanted nothing more than to go to space, and they have beaten the odds, time and again, to get there. They developed a mech and won the Top Fleet Marine competition. They brought back a battle cruiser from an unknown system and made it their own. Lila Grace Carter talks to dead people. Admittedly, that's not out of the ordinary in Lockhart, South Carolina. In her words, "I'm Southern. We all talk to dead people down here. As a matter of fact, I don't believe I can truly trust anybody that doesn't speak to at least two or three dead relations on a daily basis. The difference is, they talk back to me." Now there's a murderer on the loose in Lockhart, and Lila Grace is the only one who knows a crime was committed. Can she convince the sexy sheriff that Jenny Miller didn't fall down the steps on her own? Will she catch the killer?

The Quest for Glory continues as Quincy Harker travels to Charleston looking for a missing Archangel and becomes embroiled in local magical turf wars and potentially murderous politics. Things really heat up when an evil wizard tries to burn the city to the ground, with Harker at ground zero in the conflagration! Glory gave up her wings to save the world; now, Harker and the Shadow Council are working to get them back. To do that, they have to locate eight AWOL Archangels and convince them to go back to work.

What do you do when your psychotic grandmother also happens to be Mab, the mad queen of the Winter Court of the Faerie, who has you and your friends imprisoned after you invade her realm searching for the long-lost sister you never knew you had? Well, if you're Bubba the Monster Hunter, you break out of prison, have a dance-off in the middle of a ball, and enter a mortal combat tournament against magical beasties. If you're not Bubba, then I don't know what you'd do!

Bubba's mama came to him for help, and now he's got absent mama drama! Why did his mother abandon her family all those years ago? What is this about a sister? And what does she mean she's a fairy princess? Does this mean Bubba is a fairy? That's just weird. Bubba, Agent Amy, Skeeter, Uncle Father Joe, and Mama have to go to FairyLand to save Bubba's sister from Puck, the trickster from Midsummer.

It's raining demons in Atlanta, and Quincy Harker and the Shadow Council are humanity's last great hope for survival. The demon Orobas has a plan to destroy the world, and only Harker and his team of legacy folk heroes can stop him.

What do you get when you mix a couple of immortals, a snotty archangel, the Father of Lies, a redneck street preacher and a couple of wiseass waitresses from Texas?

They are TECH Ops, a secret project blending human beings and high technology into modern-day super soldiers with incredible power. But after a terrorist attack leaves most of the dozen operatives dead, Raptor and her Delta Team have to find out who's responsible. But their mysterious enemy is relentless, trying again and again to discredit and destroy every aspect of the TECH Ops program. If they can't get to the bottom of these attacks, TECH Ops will be over, and Raptor and the entire team will be shut down. For good.

Well, not really. But kinda. Bubba's hitting the road to to help a friend when Uncle Father Joe calls for aid. Bubba rolls into Orlando to help out the defrocked priest and his scientist/were-gator girlfriend, and ends up stumbling into something much bigger than even that giant lizard's cloaca! Somebody's hunting cryptids, and it ain't him, so he needs to find out what's going on back in them swamps, and why suddenly everybody is named Director Shaw?!?

Beauregard Ulysses Brabham is the moonshine-drinking, butt-kicking Great-Grandfather to today’s favorite redneck, half-baked, almost-government-agent Bubba the Monster Hunter. These stories explain how the Brabham family got mixed up in monster hunting, where his magical sword came from, and how Bubba got his inhuman tolerance for moonshine. (Hint: genetics)

Cryptids are turning up dead all over Charlotte, and this time it's not Harker's fault. He's tasked with finding out who is killing shifters and leaving their bodies in conspicuous places, and the best way to do that is to go undercover where the killings are taking place, find out who's in charge, and persuade them to stop.

Bubba's fought a dragon. He's had a dance-off in a faerie castle. He's dealt with his psychotic grandmother and neglectful grandpa (That's Mab and Oberon, in case you're trying to keep track). Now he has to face down the toughest challenge of them all, and he has to do it alone.

Everyone's favorite demon hunter is looking for a kidnapped archangel, and he's got to do something completely out of character to do it - go to church. It seems there's a band of extreme religious zealots running around North Carolina, and their current target is a local event promoter who just happens the be the archangel Uriel in disguise. When Harker follows the evidence to the extremists, he uncovers a lot more than a stuffed offering plate.

Remarin is a thief. He was hired to steal a gem. No big deal, right? Yeah, right. He stole the gem, then everything went sideways, and now he's running for his life across rooftops, through sewers, and all over the godsforsaken world trying not to get dead. And who is this kid, Kit, anyway?

Rachel doesn't know what's weirder - that there's a dragon in the woods by her school, or that Scott Morrison actually thinks she's beautiful. Or maybe it's the elves. Yeah, it's totally the elves. It was an ordinary weekday for Rachel Hampton. You know, like every day - you wreck your bike on the way to school because the gorgeous queen snot of the universe slams on the brakes of her spanky little convertible right in front of you, so you swerve to miss her and get run over by Scott "Oh My God" Morrison who is so nice and so cute and so out of your league.
