Publisher's Summary

Tantor Audio presents six must-listen stories from the horror comedy series Shingles.

Shingles Audio Collection Volume 2 begins with "Terror on Hypo Beach," in which a family vacation turns out to be anything but ordinary. In "Put Your Hand in My Ass", Will needs a mentor for the upcoming high school talent show. What he gets is Sloppy - an enchanted puppet with weird sexual proclivities and an extremely problematic approach to comedy.

The collection continues with "Demon Load". When a freak accident brings his new washing machine to life, Dave begins to fear that it could lead to a nightmare future, one in which mankind has been permanently pressed out of existence.

"Slaughter on Giggletime Mountain" brings listeners to the reopening of a long-closed amusement park - one with a deadly history. Then, in "It Came from My Butthole", Cooter, the son of an out-of-work rodeo clown, eats a taco that changes his life forever.

In the collection's final story, "Slow Ride", Terry's suddenly way more attractive to members of the opposite sex now that he has Sylvia, his 1979 El Camino. But what happens when the car gets jealous?

Contains mature themes.

I want all of these stories animated.

This audiobook is broken into four novellas featuring comedy and supernatural themes. The volume contains strong course language, strong sex themes, gore, violence and crude humour. It is also extremely funny.
Cal Wembly narrates, Demon Load, It Came from my Buthole, Slow Ride, Put your Hand Up my Ass, and Terror on Hypo Beach.
Cassandra Myles narrates Slaughter on Giggletime Mountain.
Individual stories:
‘Terror on Hypo Beach’ is written by Robert Bevan and follows one horny dumb kid going to a toxic landfill of a beach. The real comedy starts when a shark eats a drugged-out idiot. It is a strong start to the volume and gives the audience a good idea what's coming.
In ‘Put your Hand up my Ass’ the MC is a talentless teen who wants to become famous. He finds a cursed ventriloquist dummy in the attic. I admit, the story isn’t for me, but a lot of people love it and ask the author for a sequel. There are plenty of laugh out loud moments.
‘Demon Load’ as an Electric Dreams situation going on. The MC is a technophobic and freaks out when his washing machine gains sentience. After reading this I have to say, Skynet might have had the right idea.
‘Slaughter on Giggletime Mountain’ is the most horror inspired book in all the Shingles series. You have a supernatural killer, hunting other serial killers and horrible people. Less laughs but good horror.
What can I say about ‘It Came from my Buthole’? Two words, Robert Bevan. If you are not offended, grossed out, laughing and horrified in the first five minutes of this story, then there is something wrong with you.
‘Slow Ride’ is a Christine inspired story where a car comes to life and jealousy kills people. The ending is just perfect.

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
