Winnetou 2: "Die Festung". Old Shatterhand hat kaum Sam Hawkins der Gewalt der Kiowas entrissen, da gerät er mitten in eine Brandkatastrophe auf dem neu entdeckten Ölfeld von New Venango. Es gelingt ihm nicht nur das eigene, sondern auch das Leben eines Knaben zu retten, dessen Herkunft für Shatterhand wenig später zu einer echten Überraschung wird. Vom Pueblo der Apachen bricht er mit Winnetou auf zu Old Firehands "Festung", erlebt auf halbem Weg dorthin einen Überfall der Poncas auf Fort Niobrara, angeführt von Parranoh, dem weißen Häuptling, dem Todfeind Winnetous und Old Firehands.

Winnetou 1: "Blutsbrüder". Millionen in aller Welt, Alt und Jung, lesen seit mehr als einem halben Jahrhundert voller Begeisterung die Romane Karl Mays (1842-1912). Die von ihm geschaffene Gestalt des Winnetou übertrifft an Beliebtheit wohl viele Helden der Weltliteratur. In der hier vorliegenden spannenden Hörspielfassung erleben wir, wie es zu Beginn der 60er-Jahre des 19. Jahrhunderts dem deutschen Amerika-Reisenden Karl May - alias Old Shatterhand - gelingt, nach anfänglich erbitterter Feindschaft die Freundschaft Winnetous zu erobern.

Da et yderst velbevaret lig dukker op i en tørvemose på Isle of Lewis, er øboerne overbevist om, at man har gjort et epokegørende oldtidsfund af samme betydning som Tollundmanden. Den døde bliver da også hurtigt omtalt som 'Lewismanden'. Men da retsmedicinerne finder en falmet Elvis-tatovering på Lewismandens overarm, og da en dna-analyse desuden viser, at han er i nær familie med en af øens kendte skikkelser, indleder det lokale politi en mordefterforskning.
