Thousands of Heroes protect the land, defending against the periodic incursions by gigantic monsters known as World Threats. This was the way it had always been and Clay Shuntwise was perfectly fine with that. Running deliveries for his family’s shop in the sleepy town of Renton, the young teenager barely even thought about Heroes and their role in keeping the world safe. That was, at least, until a World Threat came crashing down on him.

After recovering from the effects of a Core shard taking over her mind, Sandra had developed a way to bond with nearby Dungeon Cores, “pacifying” them in the process. Consistent culling of the Monsters within their dungeons would still be required, but no longer would the surrounding areas be dangerous with wandering Monsters sent out by those Cores. Accomplishing all of that will inevitably lead to a greater responsibility that Sandra wouldn’t be able to handle on her own. Fortunately, the surrounding races are more than willing to step up.

Sandra had been a merchant traveling through the human lands of Muriel, though that wouldn’t have been her chosen profession. What she would’ve loved to become was a crafter, producing wondrous creations with her own two hands. Unfortunately, Sandra was born with a deformity in her hands that made them appear frozen in a claw-like pose; as a result, she couldn’t grip anything with any sort of strength or dexterity, meaning that she wasn’t able craft anything but the most simple of things that required very little in the way of hand-based manipulation.

Elmer Robbins loved decorating for every holiday with his wife, Mary, by going all out with décor at their cozy little house as well as filling his office with holiday cheer. But when his beloved Mary passed away unexpectedly the year before, it was difficult for Elmer to summon the same sort of enthusiasm in decorating for all of the holidays without her beside him.

Far in the Northern wilds where no humans regularly frequent, a young man is left alone when his parents are murdered suddenly and unexpectedly. After narrowly surviving an invasion of her dungeon by some seriously dangerous Elves, Sandra needs to recover from having all of her defending constructs destroyed in the process. With the bulk of her forces lost while shattering the Core of a Reptile Classification dungeon, the merchant-turned-Dungeon Core is feeling a little vulnerable.

Following a miraculous resurrection, Fred - the half-human/half-dungeon-core hybrid - managed to reunite with Deecy, his helpful dire wolf guide and companion. Not only that, but he was able to perform an equally miraculous resurrection of Eisa, the human woman that had professed her love for him just moments before the tragic event of their deaths. But would she be the same as she was before, or would she be forever changed by the unique process that had brought her back? Accompanied by a friend from Fred’s past, the group journeys to the west in search of the Core Power Guild.

Milton Frederick was arguably the best player of Crowned Lieges of Destiny in the entire world. As the strategy coordinator for one of the top guilds, he was beginning to actually make a living from it. That was, until he was abducted by aliens. Severely damaged and confused about what happened to him, he woke up to find himself trapped inside a massive chicken egg on a strange, primitive world filled with curious - and deadly - creatures. Sandra managed to survive the first major incursion from the nearby Orcs, thanks in part to the help a certain half-orc/half-dwarf provided. However, Kelerim left her dungeon to seek out his father, leaving her all alone with just Winxa - her dungeon fairy - as company. With the loss of her new friend comes some opportunities, at least; she now has the freedom to craft whatever she wants, and the threat of her dungeon core’s destruction from outside forces is practically absent. She even has the opportunity to upgrade her core size.

Fred did something bad. He didn’t intend to do it, but the destruction of a dungeon core - accident or otherwise - will likely result in horrific consequences for anyone connected with the crime. And not for just the perpetrators; everyone around them will suffer vengeful retribution from the nearby cores for the unthinkable act. Knowing that his mistake will end up endangering his new friends, the townspeople of Gatecross, and even his Guild, Core Power, Fred decides to do whatever he can to protect them.

The death of one of her Orcish mercenaries has sent Sandra into a spiral of rage and revenge, focusing on the four Dungeon Cores that attacked her. Unable to prevent herself from invading the rival dungeons with the misguided intent of destroying their Cores, the consequences of which would be devastating, the craft-loving former merchant struggles to regain control of her actions caused by the remnants of a Core shard invading her own mind.

After being kicked out of Crystalview Academy by Dean Wilburt, Larek and his new friends are forced to journey south where he is to continue his studies in yet another Academy named Copperleaf. Along the way, the Logger-turned-Fusionist expands his knowledge of the world and its people – and the world slowly learns about Larek in return. Arriving at Copperleaf, the fledgling Fusionist soon learns that his new Academy is just as dangerous as Crystalview, but for altogether different reasons.

After the disastrous events in the Kingdom of Androthe, the powerful Fusionist has arrived in another part of the world. Not only is he alone and unsure of where exactly he is, but now he has to navigate the strange Sealance Empire, paying off his debt toward its people that he incurred just after arriving. However, if he can journey across its expanse, he can finally return to the Kingdom where his family and friends he left behind are located.

Even after pre-ordering the pod that would allow them to play "Glendaria Awakens", Krista and Devin still had to wait months before they were able to experience the newest in VRMMORPG (virtual reality massively multiplayer online role-playing game) technology. The wait was definitely worth it as they entered into a game world that was virtually indistinguishable from real life - apart from the obvious game elements of course. After starting in a typical starting town, they learned everything they needed to survive in this new world.

Coming back to their own dimension, Milton Frederick and his AI guide, ALANNA, discovered that things were not quite how they left it. After the Station Core and his crew of Proctans acquired a derelict space station, fixed it up to include a makeshift dungeon, and then stopped the Heliothropes from invading and conquering an entirely new dimension, they managed to survive and return to Milton’s home dimension victorious.

All that Tacca Gloom Lily ever wanted to be since she was very little was a fairy assistant to a Dungeon Core. After her negatively portentous birth, however, she was never fully accepted by her superstitious peers and instructors at the Dungeon Assistant Preparatory School; nevertheless, she persisted in her studies and graduated at the top of her class. Unfortunately for her, the “hands-on” training she was supposed to receive from a Mentor and his Bonded Dungeon Core didn’t go the way she would’ve hoped.

Join Devin and Krista as they embark on a journey to explore the newest full-immersive, virtual-reality massively multiplayer online role-playing game, Glendaria Awakens!
