Hank is a thug. He knows he's a thug. He has no problem with that realization. In his view the galaxy has given him a gift: a mutation that allows him to withstand great deals of physical trauma. He puts his abilities to the best use possible and that isn't by being a scientist. Besides, the space station Belvaille doesn't need scientists. It is not, generally, a thinking person's locale. It is the remotest habitation in the entire Colmarian Confederation. There is literally no reason to be there.

Once upon a time there lived three men bonded by darkness and pain. Each fighting a past that wants to drown them. All of them damaged and broken. None of them complete. Until her.

Life is tough on space station Belvaille - not for the aristocratic nobles that call it home, but for the poor slobs like Hank. Hank is considered a celebrated cutthroat and the oldest living person in the city. His occupation is to be hired muscle for those people who don't want to get their hands dirty but still want dirty things done.

The Jatarians continue to expand across the galaxy. They hunt for the Human Empire, one of the last great threats to their desire to rule the galaxy. Will they find what they are looking for?

Sometimes it's not easy being a mutant thug. The space station Belvaille, once the center of civilization, is nearly deserted because of the new government's policies. Hank makes do by working odd jobs, but he isn't sure how long those, or the city, can last.

Belvaille has cemented its place as the most important system in the galaxy and Hank is working as an official Factotum, negotiating deals between gangs and noblemen under the watchful eye of the Arch Minister. When his ever-capable butler, Cliston, is approached to become the General Manager of a Super Class glocken team, Hank is hired not only as protection, but as a player. Hank finds himself thrown into the most grueling bloodsport in the galaxy and tasked with finding out how and why players are being abducted.

An increasingly crippled Hank struggles to keep the various factions of Belvaille in check after the collapse of the Colmarian Confederation. Hank, as Supreme Kommilaire and Secretary of City, has several hundred police to try to maintain order among the millions of inhabitants on the space station while simultaneously preparing for Belvaille's first ever election.

It's the year 2465, 200 years since the stars were opened to humanity by the invention of the shift drive. So began the First Interstellar Expansion Era, catapulting humanity into a deadly race for the limited resources of navigable space.

Disaster has struck the first Moon landing to be attempted in years. Commander Jason Strong and his fellow lunar explorer Greg Johnson have become stranded with no way home. In desperation, they set off in their lunar rover to check out an anomaly they discovered on their descent. What they find will shake their beliefs and what they know of human history. It is the beginning of an adventure that will take them far out into the Solar System and to a discovery that is beyond belief.

Hank was a dying breed on the space station Belvaille. The criminal gangs that had once made their homes there were forced out by the corporations that had taken over since the facility became an Independent Protectorate. Instead of the gentlemanly gang wars that had once dominated the scene, and made Hank's services prized as a negotiator, the city was now plagued by the clash of corporate armies using heavy weapons. Even tanks roamed the streets regularly.

Hank is getting married! The space station Belvaille has become home to a species of actors. The newest edition to the Post Colmarian Confederation are the Damakan race. As a species they are capable of “broadcast empathy”. Their acting skills are so powerful they are able to make people believe their portrayals are literally happening - even over remote transmission.

The war between the seven alien races of the Confederation and the Human Empire heats up in this epic conflict to free the Human Empire from the grip of the Confederation. After their failed attack on Earth, the Confederation is even more determined to bring the Empire back under their control. The Morag lead the massive fleet of Confederation warships to subdue this rebellion in the Empire and regain their control over the humans. The fate of the Empire is in the hands of Fleet Admirals Masters and Cleemorl.

The Confederation has decided that Earth represents a significant danger to their future plans of Empire. A massive fleet is dispatched to destroy the Solar System and every Human on its planets, moons, and asteroids. If the Solar System falls, the fledging Human Empire will have no chance of survival. Admiral Reynolds is tasked with defending the Solar System and preserving as many Human lives as possible. He knows he faces a nearly impossible task as he does not have the ships needed to stop the coming attack.

The royal family of a powerful empire are visiting Belvaille for an upcoming diplomatic summit. But their plans are somewhat interrupted when the galaxy’s premier assassin shows up and eliminates every single aristocrat. All except for one child who had been hidden. Hank is happy minding his own business. Of course, his business entails robbing, extorting, eating lots of food, and fighting. But compared with the rest of the criminals of his city, he’s practically a saint. However, Hank’s easy existence is interrupted by the chief of security.

Far from Earth and the Human Empire, the Human fleets continue to fight against an enemy that vows to destroy them. The Confederation continues to fracture, and the Humans add more alien races to their growing list of allies. Will the Morag discover the plot to destroy their home planet of Morag Prime? Earth Admiral Collison and his fleets continue to destroy targets in the Confederation. The Morag has many surprises awaiting the Human fleet. Will the Humans prevail?Can the Morag come up with a plan to defeat the Humans?

Deep in the Confederation, Rear Admiral Fulmar heads toward his mission of destroying all Lamothian planets. As long as he can avoid the large Lamothian fleet, he can accomplish his task. If only the Lamothians had heeded High Princess Layla’s warning to stop their barbaric feasts where humans are the delicacy consumed, then perhaps things would have turned out differently. Will Fulmar be successful in his mission? Will the humans of the Empire and Earth eliminate the threat of their enemies? The fate of worlds is decided in fleet battles in the Confederation and the Human Empire.

Hank is fairly happy that his uncle was murdered. The man had been nothing but a source of endless sorrow and hardships since they first met. Nevertheless, Hank is forced to investigate the killing and comes to realize it is connected to a much larger collection of miseries than even his uncle could manage. This episode marks a huge shift for Hank as he ventures into unknown regions of the cosmos and is confronted with the harsh truths of his reality.

The final battle between the Humans and the Zaltule is drawing near. However, the Arachnids have a secret that will ensure victory and allow them to wipe out the Human race once and for all. In the Strell Empire, former Supreme Overlord Xatul plans his return. He has amassed a fleet to take back control of the Kleese Empire. The Humans realize they need more time to prepare for the coming attack of the Zaltule. Fleet Admiral Kelly sends Seventh Fleet deep into the Kleese Empire to draw the attention of the Zaltule.

The economy has taken a turn for the worse, and Hank is working as a part-time gravedigger (and more than part-time graverobber). Despite being an expert shoveler, it’s not his top career choice, and he’s anxious to take any "legitimate" criminal work that comes along. In that vein, he finds himself hired by a mysterious woman who wants him to recover an even more mysterious trunk that was stolen from her mansion.

The starship New Horizon is Earth's first attempt at an FTL capable spaceship. But others don't want the mission to succeed. The mission goes suddenly and horribly wrong with the possibility of inadvertently leading the Hocklyns to Earth decades in advance of their estimated arrival time. Can the cadets on the New Horizon stop the deadly plot before it's too late?
