Hey, bud. It's Captain Rusty, gearin' up to haul a load of space freight through the Vorn Abyss. Sounds like a heavy-metal band, but it's a patch of space with wonky gravity, where your ship gets pulled in more directions than a dog walker at a squirrel convention. It's gonna be a heck of a ride, but our old rig can handle it. Probably. Me and Piper are ready to kick off our honeymoon as soon as we get back, but Murphy is always watching, and the universe has a way of rearranging your plans faster than a tornado rearranges a trailer park.

It is 2085, and Truckee Wallace, a factory worker in Crunchtown 407 (formerly Little Rock, Arkansas, before the secessions), has no grand ambitions besides maybe, possibly, losing his virginity someday. But when Truckee is thrust unexpectedly into the spotlight, he is tapped by the president for a sensitive political mission: to deliver a talking goat across the continent. The fate of the world depends upon it. The problem is - Truckee’s not sure it’s worth it.  

An intergalactic tale filled with absurd - yet somehow very familiar - characters and an even more ridiculous, but predictable plot - guy loves girl, girl loves guy, monster loves girl, monster steals girl and tries to kill guy. And oh yeah, there’s the whole thing about the universe hanging in the balance of potential destruction.

Bob and friends come back to Earth for a little well-deserved R and R. Take a few nice walks in the woods, play a little paintball. Too bad it can’t be that easy. Too many people want Commonwealth tech, for them to ever have any peace.

Jim is working hard. He and Hannah need a place to start a life together, and he has to build it. His dad has messed up, and now he has to get the company started on a way to fix the problem. Of course, it wouldn't do if Bob and Nikki didn't make it to Jim's wedding. Watch Bob and Jim struggle to get it all done.

The BSR crew have worked hard, getting the Slow Boatmen settled. They deserve a little time off at home in the Holler. Just kicking back, watching the world go by. Their shepherd has other ideas, of course.

Captain Sloan did something he shouldn't have. Now, he has to make amends. That turns out to be more of a job than anyone would have thought. Watch him and the crew of the Armstrong as they work to make things right. Bob thought they had the Boatmen safe from the cats and in places where they could live peacefully. Turns out the cats have a purpose, and the fleet made a mistake. Little Becky gets hurt finding that out.

The fleet is back on Earth, taking some downtime. For once, Bob is able to enjoy himself without Jonesing for the black. Of course, the shepherd comes along with something for him to do. Saddle up, we're headed for the black!

Bob thought BSR might be able to do some business with Homm and his people. It turns out he was wrong, but their ancestors had left knowledge the company could use. Watch the crew try to recover the knowledge without getting mixed up in their troubles. Of course, Bob picks up another apprentice for Scotti along the way.

Bringing Amelia home should be a cause for celebration, right? This is BSR we’re talking about. Our shepherd is aboard, and stirring things up. Come see Bob try and make peace, and get a little time in the shade.

Firestarter does her best to fit in on the Gene, but it's a long jump from stone-tipped spears to starships. Janet and the other girls do their best to help her fit in. Eve and Aika have trouble getting to know a new AI, and Topper's past brings a new problem for the crew to work on. Come along while they work it all out.
