Jared, Stan, Mitch, Barry, and Amy live in the small town of Marshfield, or “Graveyard City.” The town has four old cemeteries, and each kid lives next to one. They’ve witnessed so many strange things in the graveyards that they’ve formed a group called the Zombie Hunters! But they hunt more than just zombies—they track ghosts, hobgoblins, and vampires, too. Each member of the group keeps a diary of the group’s activities.

Ten-year-old Malcolm and his friend Dandy are the Ghost Detectors. With their specter detector and ghost zapper, the duo is ready to take down any ghost, from a ghoulish dance instructor to a haunted zoo! Malcolm wishes it were that easy to zap his sister, Cocoa. Between Cocoa and spunky Grandma Eunice, the Ghost Detectors’ adventures are sure to get some laughs.

Gruselexperte Tom muss sein drittes Gespensterjäger-Diplom bestehen. Da kommen die rätselhaften Spukerscheinungen in dem kleinen Dorf Moorweiher gerade richtig. Tom soll ein Gespenst mittlerer Gefährlichkeit bestimmen, fotografieren und fangen. Aber ihn und seine Gespensterjäger-Kollegen Hedwig Kümmelsaft und Hugo, ein Mittelmäßig Unheimliches Gespenst, erwartet dort auch eine Menge Schlamm und ein todbringender Dämon.

Als Tom zu Hause verängstigt von einem Gespenst im Keller berichtet, glaubt ihm niemand. Außer der Gespensterjägerin Hedwig Kümmelsaft, die ihm Unterstützung bei der Vertreibung des MUG - einem Mittelmäßig Unheimlichen Gespenst - anbietet. Doch dann erfährt Tom, dass das Kellergespenst aus seiner Villa vertrieben wurde und beschließt, zu helfen. Gemeinsam mit Hedwig nimmt er den gefährlichen Kampf gegen den Hausbesetzer - das Unglaublich Ekelhafte Gespenst - auf. Tom lernt jede Menge über den Umgang mit Gespenstern und beeindruckt seine große Schwester.

Tante Thea möchte gemeinsam mit ihrem Neffen Tom ihren Urlaub in einer Schlosspension verbringen. Anfangs findet Tom diese Idee nicht sehr toll. Dieser Urlaub sollte sich aber dennoch, wie sich bald herausstellt, als äußerst spannend erweisen. Tom trifft nämlich ein Gespenst namens Fridolin, das nur mit Kindern sprechen und sich auch nur diesen zeigen konnte. Gleich am zweiten Tag ihres Urlaubes erzählt der Schlossherr Bertram, der in argen Geldnöten steckt, dem Buben eine alte Geschichte über einen Schatz, der sich möglicherweise noch irgendwo hier im Schloss befindet.

Tina und Stefan, zwei junge Radfahrer, suchen nach einem Unterschlupf, da ein Gewitter herannaht. Sie finden eine kleine Hütte, die einen Kilometer entfernt von Schloss Rasselfels liegt und zum Schloss zu gehören scheint. Dort machen sie Bekanntschaft mit Fridolin, dem kleinen Schlossgespenst. Da sie dieses aber nur bei Vollmond zu Gesicht bekommen würden, verabreden sie sich mit dem Gespenst für die darauffolgende Woche. Und endlich ist es so weit. Fridolin gibt sich zu erkennen und plant sogleich einen Ausflug zu dritt.

Basierend auf der gleichnamigen und bereits sehr erfolgreichen Romanreihe von Sabine Städing veröffentlichte Folgenreich, das Jugend- und Erwachsenen-Hörspiellabel von Universal Music, 2018 eine neue Hörspielserie: Johnny Sinclair! Für die Hörspielproduktion konnten DIE John Sinclair-Produzenten schlechthin gewonnen werden: Sebastian Breidbach und Dennis Ehrhardt. Der erste Roman Beruf- Geisterjäger, der im Baumhaus Verlag (Bastei Lübbe AG) erschien, wurde als dreiteiliges Hörspiel adaptiert und bietet gewohnt folgenreiche Hörspielunterhaltung.

Of course Anders wasn’t lonely in the afterlife. He still, like always, had Lily. Lily doesn’t believe in making wishes. Not anymore. Not since Anders died. Wishes can’t fix the terrible thing that happened. Wishing won’t change how it feels. But Lily does believe in the impossible. She has a secret so extraordinary, so magical, no one would believe that it’s true. No one except Anders, of course. Nothing about this summer is turning out how Lily would have wished. But wishes, like seasons, can change.
