Since taking over TED in the early 2000s, Chris Anderson has shown how carefully crafted short talks can be the key to unlocking empathy, stirring excitement, spreading knowledge, and promoting a shared dream. Done right, a talk can electrify a room and transform an audience's worldview. Done right, a talk is more powerful than anything in written form.

I've written almost 30 novels, and about the same number of short stories over my career, and to give new listeners a glimpse of the gamut of my work in an inexpensive way, this book was brought into existence. Contained here are two short stories: All In and The Vampire of Menlo Park. Both are well placed in the horror genre, about devils, demons, inventors, and the undead.

In book six of Adrian's Undead Diary, no one near Adrian is safe. In the Arms of Family also follows Kevin and Michelle as their stories entwine and bring them ever closer to the horrors that surround Adrian across the vast Atlantic Ocean.
