Un homme se réveille dans une clairière, amnésique, dans un pays qui ressemble énormément à l’Angleterre médiévale... Qui est-il, d’où vient-il et pourquoi a-t-il atterri ici ? Mystère. Traqué par un groupe aussi étrange que puissant, il doit, s’il veut survivre, retrouver la mémoire. C’est son seul espoir. Même s’il faut pour cela s’allier à quelques autochtones, et adopter leurs croyances et leurs superstitions. Il existe bien un guide, intitulé Manuel de Survie du Sorcier Frugal dans l’Angleterre médiévale, qui pourrait l’aider, sauf que son unique exemplaire a explosé pendant le transfert.

Außerdem muss er seine Erinnerung wiedererlangen und Verbündete unter den Einheimischen finden, bevor ihm mysteriöse Feinde an den Kragen gehen können.
