About this listen

Have you ever had a conversation with a female friend, colleague, family, or even a stranger where they said something that changed the way you thought about something, helped you see something in a different light, or even just felt soothed that you were having a conversation? I have had many and I would like to make parts of those conversations available to a wider audience especially on unspoken topics like miscarriage, suicide, money worries, feeling lost and so much more. Find comfort, peace and joy in these beautifully therapeutic conversations, and some of my own individual thoughts too

The combination of people and planet consistently shows us that it's a recipe for success in all its ways. They do and can work alongside each other. Looking after both simultaneously is the key!

Kate Williams is the CEO of 1% for the planet - what an incredible concept that such a simple, seemingly small contribution can have an incredibly powerful outcome perhaps because it is manageable, doable, and consistent!

Kate shares such poignant personal moments that have fed in to her work including witnessing the total eclipse!

The lessons in 'always learning' is so humbling and I believe important for us to all hear!

  • Are you a Mother with a neurodiverse child?
    Apr 2 2024

This chat is with Mum - Natasha Louise Middleton, who has two neurodiverse children and here we gain a deeper understanding as to why it may be particularly important to focus on the Mums and their parenting journey.

Natasha says that with all the planning and reading of what it's like to be a parent with a neurodiverse child you may as well throw out the rule book as this will require you to adapt.

Natasha has written two e-books offering 'doable' self-care!

She connects the 'woo' with the 'science' and shows that if we explore our spirituality rather than parking it away somewhere we may just uncover a sense of ease within ourselves and our children.

Another tip is the art of laughter in a present moment to shift away from a negative narrative! Plus, she shares the 'ripple effect' between Mother and child in every direction.

    Book recommendation:

Scattered Minds by Dr Gabor Maté (Natasha and I had many similarities, and we were even reading this book at the same time!)

Reframing is a skill Natasha has practiced through powerful words such as; "Everything is working out in my favour. Everything is working for me." helps her to anchor herself.

I loved Natasha's response to my final question Q: "how will someone know they are ready to wotrk with you?"
