About this listen

In this podcast, Elders Randall & DeBorrah K. Ogans share biblically based insight, guidance, and advice on Life & Living, Marriage & Relationships, Family & Parenting, Faith & Belief, Church & Religion, Spiritual Health, and more.

Weekly episodes encourage listeners to live life out loud, walking/living in the light, doing what the Lord requires of us in every area of life. What does the Lord require of us? To act justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with our God.

Jesus said "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life".

To walk in the light is to have a daily commitment to living out a righteous life. Blessed(happy) are those who walk in the light of His presence. His word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. For it is in Him that we live, and move, and have our being.

This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son, cleanseth us from all sin.

Always keep in mind, the transforming power of the Lord, is truth. Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and everything else will be added unto you.

If you haven't already, make a commitment today, to start Walking In the Light.

  • Ephesians - Spiritual Riches and the Eternal Kingdom
    Sep 10 2025

In this episode, we take an in-depth look at the Epistle to the Ephesians, a book within the New Testament. It emphasizes the spiritual wealth and blessings available to believers in Christ Jesus, contrasting this with a life of spiritual poverty. We explore themes such as God's eternal kingdom, the role of the Holy Spirit, and the significance of the Church as the body of Christ, detailing how believers are adopted into God's family and receive spiritual gifts.

Using the book of Ephesians, we also will discuss practical Christian living, including concepts like patience, managing anger, continuous prayer, and spiritual warfare, ultimately encouraging listeners to understand and embrace their identity and purpose within God's plan.

We also provide some historical context for the church in Ephesus and its founding.

Ephesus is a place that we visited several years ago. Today it is located in modern day Turkey.

Listen as we emphasize the transformative power of Jesus Christ, leading believers into an inheritance of spiritual wealth, a unique identity as God's children.

  • There is True Security & Significance in The Lord! - Psalm 7
    Sep 3 2025

The central message of Psalm 7 is that true security and significance are found in the Lord. It emphasizes the importance of turning to God during times of intense persecution, false accusations, and spiritual warfare.

David, the author, demonstrates that instead of retaliating or taking matters into one's own hands, one should earnestly cry out to the Lord for justice, refuge, and guidance, trusting that God is a righteous Judge who will ultimately intervene and protect the innocent.

David's experience in Psalm 7 teaches an "invaluable lesson of how to properly respond when under attack." When faced with slander, false accusations, and persecution, even from those unexpectedly close, the proper response is to "PRAY!" Instead of fighting back or taking revenge, David "cleaved to the Lord and found refuge in caves," earnestly and vociferously crying out for justice.

This demonstrates the importance of allowing the Lord to fight one's battles and depending on Him, His Word, and His Holy Spirit. Listen as we share how True Security & Significance is only found in the Lord.

  • Walking In Integrity
    Aug 27 2025

This episode, "Walking In Integrity," encourages listeners to embrace a life of integrity as a path to wholeness and a deeper relationship with God. It emphasizes that God has provided all necessary guidance through the Bible and the plan of salvation, enabling believers to navigate life's complexities.

We highlight the contrast between those who follow God's principles and those who lack moral clarity or distort truth, suggesting that integrity involves standing firm in faith even amidst challenges and opposition. Ultimately, we assert that walking in integrity allows believers to overcome difficulties and experience genuine peace and contentment through divine guidance and a commitment to God's truth.

Integrity starts with where you seek your guidance.
