• In Memory of Dr. James Dobson: Honoring a Legacy of Faith & Family
    Aug 25 2025

Aaron Atwood and Dr. Jeff Myers sit down to discuss the life and influence of Dr. James Dobson. Dobson was a Christian psychologist, author, and broadcaster best known as the founder of Focus on the Family. Trained as a child development specialist, he served on the faculty of the University of Southern California School of Medicine before launching his media ministry in 1977. Through radio, books, and speaking, Dr. Dobson became one of the most influential voices in evangelical Christianity, especially on marriage, parenting, and family values. He later founded Family Talk in 2010, continuing his mission to strengthen faith and families.

More than this, Dr. Dobson has had a significant impact on the lives of countless Christians, as well as on the trajectory of Summit Ministries. We want to honor a man who fought the good fight of faith and truly championed a biblical worldview.
