  • Reboot or Deboot? Ep. 21: True Grit
    Mar 25 2026

One of these moving pictures is a mule's hair shy of a henhouse and the other is meaner than a widow's bullet.

I reckon that one of them here Rooster Cogburns was a fantastical portrayal of a drunkard past his prime and one of 'em was portrayed by a fantastical drunkard past his prime. If my words inflame and incense your persons and you take thems as shootin' words, then I s'pose you'll have to pull up a rockin' chair, a pouch of baccy, a spatoon, and some fierce ears to drop eaves on our ascertainment of the age old question as to whether or not the remake was a retootin' or a detootin'!

  • Reboot or Deboot? Ep. 20: Insomnia
    Mar 3 2026

If you're able to stay awake, you might find out whether this reboot was a deboot or not. I'm too tired to think of something clever. A good reviewers can't sleep because a movie can be so bad, a bad reviewer can't sleep because he doesn't know why movies are bad.

    Feb 3 2026

Trust us when we say that we were surprised when we realized which movie deserved our praise. One option was too high on its own supply while the other was a smooth ride through criminal mischief.

  • Re-Boot or De-Boot? Ep. 16: Going Places & The Jesus Rolls
    Jan 6 2026

This one was grueling for reasons we had not anticipated nor could we have imagined. The debate as to which movie we disliked more is one we were not expecting. Erotic degeneracy versus a monotonous impassivity, who comes out on the bottom?

  • Re-Boot or De-Boot? Ep. 15: Super Special Spectacular Holiday Special: The Bishop's Wife & The Preacher's Wife
    Dec 23 2025

One of these films was dashing through the snow and far more charming and suave than the other more perplexing, one-dimensional choice. The real question is which angel swooned us harder, and that answer may be less obvious.
