About this listen

Making a normal season 2 didn't exactly fit right. We were tired of the same 'ole same 'ole. So you know what that means, IT'S RE-BOOT TIME! Welcome back to the Worst podcast presented by The Worst Critics. In this series we will be analyzing and reviewing movies and their respective retellings/remakes/reboots. Each episode will release every two weeks.

You like it, we probably hate it. Self described critics, John and Noah, discuss movies and reboots of said movies. Opinions and hot takes aplenty.

Original series is about us reviewing a movie and a corresponding album after catching up on the week's news and consumption.

Three movies enter, and well, three movies leave. In the first ever 3-parter, we decide whether or not these movies deserve to be lost and forgotten in their prime or thrust back into the spotlight with a fresh perspective. Which of the three are shining lights and which are crude, hardheaded attempts at a story.

Join us in two weeks as we give our thoughts on the Danish film, The Guilty, and its 2021 American remake!

  • Re-Boot or De-Boot? Ep. 12: La Piscine & A Bigger Splash
    Nov 5 2025

Raging current or tepid drips? Is the older film too draining and the new one too irresistible? Or is the old one nuanced and the new one an ill-fated fling? Join us as we take a dive under the surface of the erotic movie genre and bask in the heat.

Join us in THREE weeks, yes, three, not two, THREE weeks when we review A Star is Born (1937), its 50s version and its 70s version. Don't worry, we've seen the Cooper/Gaga version.
