  • Run to the Chaos
    Oct 10 2024

It's the Season Finale, and we're talking about chaos. From wars in Ukraine and Israel to hurricanes to our personal lives, chaos seems to reign. We can't avoid it, but we sure try to. Whether through addictive substances or escapist entertainment, humans so often try to turn a blind eye from chaos. What we talk about is this episode is instead of avoiding it, perhaps the right response to chaos is to run toward it!

  • When The Bottom Rots Out - Joel Kime's Story
    Aug 30 2024

Starting with this episode, the guys are taking turns sharing their stories. Up first is Joel Kime, who talks about a speaker he heard in college. The speaker said that revival is not always when life is so good that the top overflows. Instead revival is more often when life is so bad that the bottom rots out. At the time Joel was feeling some of that rot. Learn what happens when he travels to Guyana, South America, then reads the book of Ecclesiastes. Eventually he and his family moved to Kingston, Jamaica, where they encountered more rot. It totally changed the way he thought about counseling.

In this episode, we learn more about Mission 22's many counseling and therapy programs. Check out their website in the show notes below.
