  • Leading a successful business from the heart
    Oct 18 2023

In this episode, I get to sit down with Nanette Abbott, founder of New Leaf Kinesiology. I've been fortunate enough to have known Nan (as she's fondly called) for several years and she was a support to me through a really tough time. When you listen to Nan, she speaks with a gentle authority that can only be cultivated from decades of experience. Her ability to deconstruct a complex idea and apply it to the realities of everything from daily life to corporate settings really sets her apart. Beyond that, Nan has a gift for reading people and intuitively sensing energy. Her passion is in guiding people, championing their success and genuinely wanting to see her clients win. If you have started a business, or perhaps are feeling a bit stalled in an established one, then this Podcast sesh is going to really open some new doors for you. Beyond that, even if you're not focused on entrepreneurial endeavors, Nan creates a space that is open for anyone right now who simply just wants to understand themselves a little better and move toward cultivating a life that they truly love. • Why are we getting fatter, sicker and disconnected?
    Jul 18 2023

This episode began with the premise of tackling body image and scrutinising social media's effect on our mental health, but I went down a rabbit hole of alarming statistics that indicate we are getting fatter, sicker and more detached every decade. At the moment, 67% of Australian adults are considered overweight or obese and we have a huge reliance on the medical industry more than ever before. Australian's spent $1.9 billion dollars on health and wellness in 2022 and yet our weight is still increasing. My question became - "what is going on here?"

  • Is yoga a religion?
    Jun 26 2023
In this video, I decide to explore the question - "Is yoga a religion ?" My intention is to unpack the origins of the practice and if it can be compatible with other religious beliefs. There's so much we still don't fully understand about Eastern philosophies and teachings and that can be a bit scary. Hopefully, this episode can relieve some of the unknown and invite you to open your mind to an alternate perspective. • The power of belief
    Dec 29 2022

One of my favorite things I recently heard was from Deepak Chopra - “No-body can change their mind, but trying to change their mind. Nobody can get rid of a thought by using a thought.”

Meaning, you cannot conceptualise a thought or a feeling by giving it a label – you’re basically attempting to explain and judge whatever is underneath that.

Thoughts are messengers that are there to get our attention and raise the flag that there is something subconscious we need to acknowledge.

And our beliefs underpin so much of our behaviour and how we navigate this world. In this podcast, I get vulnerable about some of my values and beliefs and how they were shaped.
