Traveling southbound from Mount Katahdin, Maine, to Springer Mountain, Georgia he finished his self-supported record on September 21, 2025, covering the entire 2,189 mile trail, with 465,000 feet of elevation gain, in 45 days and 8 hours. Along the way he raised more than $42,000 for the suicide prevention nonprofit the Trevor Project.
