  • Detox from a Narcissist: Leaving and Reclaiming Your Power
    Mar 22 2025

🎙️ Episode 5: Detox from a Narcissist: Leaving and Reclaiming Your Power

Welcome to episode 5 of the Make It Enuf Podcast! This week, we focus on how to leave and heal from a narcissistic abusive relationship. It’s not about just surviving, but about getting out and thriving after you’ve walked away. In this episode, we provide honest, raw insights into narcissistic relationships, offering actionable advice for leaving these toxic dynamics behind and starting your healing journey.

We define what a narcissist is and what narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) truly means. While the term is often overused, we’re specifically addressing relationships with those who have NPD and the abuse that comes with it.

Trigger Warning: This episode may be triggering for some, but we hope you find healing in our words. We discuss how to recognize narcissistic abuse, take accountability for your own healing, and stop attracting these unhealthy dynamics—whether in love, work, or family.

We don’t share to be liked. We don’t share to seem perfect. We share to be free. And in doing this, we give other women permission right there.

Admitting you dated narcissists, that you struggle with being alone, that you're still healing? That’s not crazy—that’s revolutionary. Because the ones who call you crazy are often the ones pretending they’ve never played a role in their own suffering.

We are not here to be palatable. We are here to be a mirror, a voice, a light. And if people can’t face what we reflect, that’s okay. Not everyone is ready for this level of truth. But the women who are? They hear us. And they’re gonna heal because of it.

We talk about how narcissistic abuse can affect all areas of your life and your well-being, and how to reclaim your power once you’ve broken free.

🩺 Seven Medical Minutes: In this episode, we dive into the healing process—how to heal your body after narcissistic abuse, and how to reclaim your life and self-worth. We also talk about the long-lasting physical and emotional effects narcissistic abuse can leave on the body and mind.
